Safety FIRST!

„Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.” This famous quotation, widely attributed to Abraham Lincoln, extols the importance of thorough preparation before undertaking any task. It seems to have been taken to heart in many countries, but especially Australia, where numerous companies have responded to particularly stringent legislation regarding occupational safety by offering specialist courses on the use of telescopic handlers. A licence is not required in order to drive a telehandler in Australia, but specific qualifications are needed, depending on the vehicles and accessories used.

That is why our Apollo 25.6 is one of the vehicles most used by instructors, thanks to its simplicity and intuitive use, comprehensive safety features and broad range of available accessories, characteristics that make it easier for beginners to get to grips with the vehicle. In addition to general rules for safe driving, the courses include a whole series of detailed information on load limitations, the use of outriggers and accessories, and correct maintenance. And our Apollo, unanimously appreciated for being both simple and comprehensive at the same time, has turned out to be the ideal training vehicle.
